With a Heart for the Home , The desire of Shiloh House is to pursue Peace, Godly living & encourage you & Inspire you to live with mindfulness and intention, bringing purpose and wholesome values to your home and family.
For many years my heart has desired for space where I could cultivate my creative passions for Homemaking & Home Industry . It is in this place that my Creative Passions can pour out in a God honoring & meaningful way.

In 2017 our little family started a journey of homesteading & we decided to begin living much simpler. We sold our city farmhouse , moved away from the historic district of my hometown & onto 27 acres of the Appalachian foothills in the countryside. After living on our little homestead for 4 years, we ventured out for a short season, and moved to Missouri for some various reasons. We found ourselves living among the Old Order Amish, and I would often visit the Amish Shoppe which was nestled on an Amish Farm. I would pick up goods for my home, and enjoy sweet conversations with them as they would come and go. They quickly became very dear to us, like family and we became quite dear friends. We spent much time with them on their farm, my husband doing some work for them, while i would drive them to weddings, on errands, and spent much time with the wife, tending home, garden, children & enjoying deep conversations on the front porch. It was a time of deep fulfillment for my heart and soul.

I gained a lifelong friend & it rooted something in me that would change me for the rest of my life. It changed who I was in so many ways, & I have not been the same since. It nurtured a deep connection to something my heart has longed for since I was yet a little girl , and it satisfied a hunger that the modern culture cannot fulfill. So it is here , in my little 1920 Farmhouse, tucked away into a Sunny Southern Countryside Farm, that I pour myself into Making & Gathering, Tending & Nurturing, Seeking & Pondering. Giving myself to a life that is Plain & Simple, a creative life woven and crafted with purpose and grace .
